OPENING LEADS AGAINST TRUMP CONTRACT
1. Lead a suit that your partner has bid - do not lead a suit that op. has bid.
2. Lead a suit headed by a strong honor sequence, two cards is enough in a trump contract (Three cards in a notrump contract).
3. Lead a short suit, that is a singelton (even if the op. has bid that suit! But not a singelton trump) or a doubleton.
4. Lead the highest card from a doubleton in any trick, not just the first trick.
Lead the lowest card from a 3-card holding.
In general: lead the 4th highest card (Planbring: 3:dje).
Lead the second card from interior sequence (the same as in a notrump contract)
5, Do not lead a low card from a suit that includes the Ace. If you have
to lead from that suit lead the Ace.
6. Do not lead from your longest and strongest suit (as in a notrump contract).
7. Consider the bidding.
8. Aggressic lead against small slam contract trying to establish a winner.
9. Lead a trump when a passive lead is called for (grand slam) and when leading from any side suits appears to be dangerous. Wohlin: spela inte ut en singelton!
10. Lead a trump when you are very long (min 4 cards) and strong in the trump suit or when the bidding suggest that your partner is, that is when your partner passes a take out double (upplysningsdubbling).
11. Lead a trump when the declarer is either going to ruff losers in the dummy or play for a crossruff.
12 The forcing game - try to make the declarer out of trump (even with a single trump!) in order to take trump control.

13. Wohlin: mot låga färgkontrakt är oftast trumf det effektivaste utspelet, i synnerhet då spelförarens partner givit en något ansträngd preferens till den ena av färgerna.
